A TEAM comprising over 100 Income Tax Department officials raided 20 offices and residential premises belonging to Rohtas Group in the state capital and claimed to have detected tax evasion worth crores of rupees. The raids, conducted under the supervision of additional directors of Income Tax (Investigation) Meenaxi and S.H. Usmani, were part of the nationwide raids on the Rohtas Group which is mainly involved in the construction business.Officials said as many as four lockers were sealed and dozen of bank accounts were frozen during the raids. – www.yahoo.com
