NEW FACILITY FOR PAN HOLDERS

Remembering PAN number is not a must now. Also those who have lost their PAN cards or want a new one, need not worry much. For, clicking on the link - http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/knowpan/knowpan.jsp - will transport one straight to Income Tax (I-T) department’s special service for PAN holders. Although the facility had been in existence for quite some time, what is new about it are the e-mails pouring into recipients’ inboxes asking them to hit on the link mentioned for PAN details. I-T department though knows nothing about the e-mails, the facility it says exists to help PAN holders and seekers. Submitting the name and date of birth (DoB) on the page will generate the PAN and jurisdiction against the personal details entered, within no time. –www.timesofIndia.com
