Notified date of commencement of sections 44 and 45 of Disaster Management Act, 2005

NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 517(E), DATED 17-3-2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (53 of 2005), the Central Government hereby appoints the 17th day of March, 2008 as the date on which the provisions of sections 44 and 45 of the said Act shall come into force.
