SECTION 90(A)/(B) OF THE FINANCE ACT, 2008 - EFFECTIVE DATE OF

NOTIFICATION NO. 18/2008 - SERVICE TAX, DATED 10-5-2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (A) and (B) of section 90 of the Finance Act, 2008 (18 of 2008), the Central Government hereby appoints the 16th day of May, 2008, as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
